The Birdtable Company

In the beginning...

Over 20 years ago, my mother-in-law asked me to make her a bird table. The result pleased her so much, that it prompted the launch of our business - appropriately called - The Birdtable Company.

Within a few months, we won a wholesale contract and have continued to design and manufacture specialist products. Our range includes poultry housing, dovecotes, rabbit hutches, kennels and special commissions. Over the years we have dealt with many top retailers including Harrods and Selfridges, and supplied leading garden centres such as Webbs of Wychbold and Bridgemere Garden Centre. We have also provided special mail order products to Past Times and The National Trust.

Demand was such that in 1999 we moved to Bromsberrow Heath, near Ledbury in Herefordshire, and established our own well equiped workshop.

Quality products are important to our customers and their livestock. As an example, we over-engineer our poultry housing – the timber we use is more substantial than it needs to be, but that means the fox goes hungry!

All our products are designed and manufactured using local tradesmen. We source from local suppliers. Our local hauliers deliver throughout the UK.

We are open 7 days a week and are more than happy to talk to you about poultry keeping.
